Create a Party
Choose Game Mode
Choose which game mode you want to play with your party.
You will then be able to invite your friends to join your party, and ultimately play together on the same server with other players.

Filters which servers will be chosen when searching for an active game by the campaign being played.
Choosing a Campaign Name instead of an individual Map Name will select servers playing any map of that campaign.
Server Provider:

Restricts selection of an optimal server to one ran by one of the specified Game Server Providers.
Party Options

Play4Dead can guarantee a party size of 2 or 3 players can all play together on the same team by choosing server's that have enough additional free slots to support party members switching teams after connecting if necessary.
For example, a party size of 2 joining a Versus server with 6/8 players may not have enough space on either team for both players to play together (3 players may be on survivors, with 3 on infected).
A server however with at least 3 slots free (5/8 players) must have two player slots free on one of the teams.
When this option is selected, only servers that have enough free slots to guarantee all party members can play together are chosen, at the cost of possibly joining a less populated server.
This option is ignored if the game mode chosen is single-team based (such as Co-Op) or the party size prevents every member being able to play on the same team.
In-Progress Maps
Maps that are being played right now may be easily viewed to help make a decision in which game mode and campaign you would like to play. Show In-Progress Maps.
You may not have been connected to the server if you were already playing.
